The telangana state housing corporation ltd., is funtioning separetely from 2-6-2014 , to fulfill the objective of government in providing pucca houses to all the eligible BPL houseless families.

2BHK Housing scheme is the flagship programe of the telangana government to help people who don't have houses or live in huts or rented houses.
Eligibility
You will be eligible to apply for this double bedroom scheme in telangana, Hyderabad if you meet the following conditions:
- Is your family a below poverty line family? Do you have a valid Food security card?
- Add the food security number in the application form. Only people who have a valid below poverty line ration card eligible to apply for the telangana housing scheme.
- The 2 BHK house will be sanctioned in the name of the head of the family's wife.
- You can apply if you live in hut or a rented house. Your family must not own a concrete house.
Objective
Government of telangana have formulated to double bed room housing scheme in the month of october 2015 with a view to provide dignity to the poor by providing 100% subsidized housing. There is no beneficiary contribution under this scheme which is one of its kind. in rural aread, beneficiaries solely depends on seasonal conditions for their earnings. The 2BHK housing helped in protecting them from debt traps as was the case in the past.

Rural:SC/ST:20% MINORITIES:7%AND BALANCE 43% FOR OTHERS.
Urban:SC:17%,ST:60%:MINORITES:12% AND BALANCE 65% FOR OTHER.
